Membership Resources
The O'Neill Chapter of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America is one of many activities offered at O'Neill Jr./Sr. High School. We are a Career and Technical Student Organization whose central focus is family. Our organization is co-curricular meaning that we incorporate what is taught in the Family and Consumer Sciences classroom into our organization. We want to give a huge shoutout to our sponsors this year: Wakefield Insurance Agency, Heartland Auto, and Pinnacle Bank. Without their support, our organization wouldn't be where we are today.

Membership Requirements:
-You must be a Junior High or Senior High student at O'Neill Public Schools.
-You must have taken a Family and Consumer Sciences course or plan to in the upcoming year.
To receive activity credits, you must pay your $25 dues, attend District Leadership Conference or participate in STAR, attend five meetings, and participate in five activities.

7th Grade Family and Consumer Sciences
This is a required quarter class for all 7th graders.
Intro to Family and Consumer Sciences
This is an elective course for students in grades 9-12.
Textiles Construction (Semester 1)
This is an elective class for students in grades 10-12.
Fundamentals of Food and Nutrition (Semester 2)
This is an elective course for students in grades 10-12.
Child Development (Semester 1)

Projects
CARE CLOSET
Our care closet project provides personal hygiene products to students at our high school who are in need. If you have items you would like to donate, please leave them in the office or bring them to the FCS room!
POP TAB PROJECT
We are collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House this school year! Please collect and bring your pop tabs to donate. Each OHS faculty member has a container for the collection of pop tabs in their classroom!
BACKPACKS
Each week FCCLA members deliver packaged food to elementary school students. This project ensures that children are getting an adequate amount of nutritious food every weekend. We would like to thank Pinnacle Bank for their very generous support of our Backpack Program.
Program of Work
This is the National Leadership Conference for FCCLA members. Any STAR participant who qualified for Nationals will attend this conference. Members will have the opportunity to grow their leadership abilities and learn more about FCCLA.
This is our end of the year celebration. Please join us to celebrate all of the successes our chapter has had this year. Bring your families and a potluck item!

We have concession stands for the District Wrestling Tournament and the basketball games on Friday, February 11th. If you wish to help, please speak with Mrs. Mann.
State Officer candidates will attend interviews in Lincoln. They will also take a test related to FCCLA.
Members will discuss the upcoming activities for the month. We will also participate in the Financial Fitness Outreach program. Please bring your spare change to donate to the Humane Society.
This is a limited event to high school students only. Members will learn more about topics relevant in today's society through the education of their peers. If you wish to attend, please speak to Mrs. Mann.
FCCLA members participating in STAR will attend the district competition. We will leave the school parking lot from the west side at 7:15am and arrive home at approximately 4:45pm.
This is our monthly FCCLA meeting! We will discuss the upcoming STAR competition. We are also making snowflakes for the Country Lane Assisted Living Facility.
Join officer Rachel Kholman in learning how to defend yourself! This course will cover the basic of self dense in the modern society. Please join us! Bring a water bottle and a permission slip located outside of Mrs. Mann's door!
Join us for our annual Christmas FCCLA Meeting. We will enjoy Minute-it To Win It Games. Please bring a person care items for the Care Closet, a food item to share, and a gift to exchange.

FCCLA members join us for the District Leadership Conference! This conference will grow your knowledge of FCCLA and your leadership potential. Our very own State Officer, Ally Sedlacek, will present her session "Using Your Superpowers to Bring Out the Best Leader in You." Our State Peer Officers, Harley Cahoy and Annie Corkle, will present sessions about the National Programs Financial Fitness and Student Body!
Join us for our month FCCLA Meeting! It is Bring a Buddy Night! If you are an FCCLA member who brings a friend, you and your guest will receive a special treat! Our serve project this month is painting pumpkins for the Evergreen Assisted Living. Please join us for a great time!
This is an event for chapter officers! Members will attend sessions that align with their officer duties to enhance their leadership. State Officers, Harleigh Claussen and Ally Sedlacek, will be hosting sessions! Harleigh will host a session for chapter treasurers named "Are You Financially SMART?" Ally is hosting a session for chapter secretary's named "More Than Just Minutes."
Join us for our monthly FCCLA meeting! We will discuss the upcoming activities of our chapter. We will gather volunteers to help with backpacks, concession stands, and more! Our service project this month will be making cards for first responders in remembrance of 9-11.
Join us for our FCCLA Chapter kickoff party! We will enjoy walking tacos while learning more about FCCLA and the endless opportunities it provides it members. After eating, we will venture on a scavenger hunt to find the lost treasure.
